Oil painting on table
"Certification Prof. Francesco Gallo, Professor Academy of Fine Arts in Rome
Very lively composition in which Nettuno appears on a trident reinforced rock next to Amphithrite, his bride. Under his vigilant jurisdiction the other marine deities are unfolded: the Nereidi nymphs that get wet into the springs, the old god of the rivers that gushes the waters from an amphora, the maids and other characters. It is a work of a generous formal elegance of French school, expression of the refinement of the Rocaille world. They particularly affect the freshness and dynamic impact of the composition, highlighted in the laying of the characters.
